Weight Loss Issues - Can You Be Cellulite Free!

By Marie Gordon

This article is aimed at women, because primarily it is women who suffer from the appearance of cellulite in various areas of their bodies. With a few exceptions cellulite is something that only happens to women, and this is because of the makeup of the female body in the main.

Women have a different hormonal balance than men, and have much greater levels of estrogens which can cause a greater build up of fat cells under the skin compared to men. If a woman is overweight, this will compound the problem
considerably in my opinion.

If women were more aware of the underlying reasons for the fact that they have cellulite, they might be inclined to also make more of an attempt to overcome it naturally. They do have a range of choices in their desire to make its effects less visible to others.

The first choice is that you can learn to live with it. Yes, I do actually mean that. At the end of the day it is not going to detract from you as a woman, and there is no reason whatsoever why you cannot still be very attractive. Do not let it become an obsession at any cost!

It would probably be much better to attack the problem head on, and there is unlikely to be a better place to start than going on a serious low fat diet to get rid of excess weight. Over and above weight loss, a sensible and sustained exercise regime is very desirable, and actually should be a priority as well for other health reasons.

Examples of a more active lifestyle, and a planned exercise program can be relatively minor things. The exercises should be designed to help to improve the appearance of cellulite in the areas of a woman's body where it is the most prominent, namely the hips buttocks, and thighs. All forms of exercise are beneficial, especially brisk walking whenever possible, but still the aim is to reduce the appearance of cellulite, so target the exercises to that end.

Investigate cosmetic and beauty treatments claiming to reduce the effects of cellulite. Experiment with as many as your budget will allow, and remember that the most expensive is not necessarily the best. A big factor in the composition of cellulite is fatty cells underneath the skin, so try massaging those areas regularly.

There are other measures which you can take to reduce the appearance of cellulite, and they involve what could be termed as cosmetic surgery. Cosmetic surgery of all kinds has become much more popular in recent times, with
procedures for just about anything. Very expensive, and for my taste rather extreme, but they do exist nevertheless.

Useful Quick Fix Tips To Instantly Disguise Cellulite

Use the Tanning Salon - Women who have a good tan on their skin do not suffer the same effects from cellulite in terms of appearance. The tan lessens the dimpled orange peel effect, and makes the skin look tauter. Particularly
effective in disguising the fleshy parts of your legs from which you have also removed the unwanted hair.

Do Not Wear Flat Shoes - Although they are very often more comfortable, nobody would in truth deny that flat shoes and sandals make your legs thicker and more fat in their appearance. How many times have you seen famous women and stars wearing flat shoes for example. They know that the trick is to wear high heels, and if they are wearing any form of trousers, they make sure that they are cut to just above the ankle. Their whole look is made much more slender and their legs look much thinner by doing this.

Draw The Eyes Upwards - If you are wearing your jeans on a night out for example, either by wearing a bulky necklace, a glittery scarf, or maybe even a Wonderbra and a V Necked top (if you are feeling slightly daring), and you will
distract attention away from your thighs. Also Wear dark colors as they make your bottom parts look much slimmer.

Beauty Treatments - If the budget will stretch to it, professional beauty salons can do wonders for your appearance. That is their job after all, and your self confidence will rocket. Also many of them specialise in treatments which are specifically designed to disguise your cellulite. Try a number of different ones if you can, and stick with the one which gives you the best results. Please remember however that these are not permanent cures.

The majority of women would love to have thinner cellulite free thighs, but do please remember that it is your overall appearance which matters most. If you look and feel attractive in yourself that will be the way that others will also see you. Remember that the aim here is for improvement not perfection. Cellulite has been a feminine curse since the beginning of time, and as yet as
I mentioned earlier, no one has come up with either an instant or indeed permanent cure.

However until they do, and one day somebody just might, stay focussed on your overall health, take serious and meaningful steps to lose weight, and maintain a good exercise program. That way you can at the very least keep the whole thing in perspective, and maintain your self confidence at a much higher level than it would otherwise have been. - 30292
