Deciding which Teeth Whitener is best for You

By Dave Smith

Unfortunately when you go out looking for a teeth whitener it can be quite difficult. However, if you want the best option then it has to be done. If you've been subjected to yellow teeth for years, you probably want to make a change. Granted it might not bother you initially, but when others start talking it can be a major downfall. Having yellow teeth can ruin your chances of a relationship with another, conversations during events, or just your overall self-esteem.

Keep in mind there are a few things to consider before you purchase the first thing you see. Most importantly, you have to discover what and what not your teeth can handle. In doing so, it will allow you to narrow down your choices. For example if you suffer from sensitive teeth, a mouth whitening tray will only hurt your teeth. In this case you will want to turn to either small brush paints or whitening strips.

What about a gag reflex? Do you happen to have one of those? To find out, put your finger near the back of your throat. If you are somehow looking at something you ate last week right now, then yes, you probably do have a gag reflex. In this case you won't want to try tray whiteners because they work just like a retainer.

Probably one of the most important things to understand is what teeth whitening agents do to tooth caps. If you have them and they are discolored, teeth whiteners won't change the color. So it is possible to use a solution and end up with all your teeth looking white except for the teeth that are capped. In this case you're going to have to see your local dentist and have it redone.

Last but not least everyone's finances always come into play. No one wants to waste money, so choosing one that doesn't put a financial strain on you is important. The truth is some teeth whiteners cost over $100. Just remember that the most expensive one isn't always the best.

So here are a few different types of whiteners that you can get, and the first one is the whitening toothpaste. It is basically the same as regular toothpaste though the major difference is that it contains whitening agents that will get rid of the stains with no problem whatsoever. This particular form of teeth whitening doesn't involve bleach, so it'll just get rid of surface stains.

They may seem like new innovations to some people, but whitening strips have been around for quite some time. Most of them are extremely difficult to notice thanks to their transparent nature. All it takes is 30 minutes and the results will begin to be noticeable. Just remember that it is something you need to continue to utilize in order to get the best results.

These are just two of the many ways you can whiten your teeth. Even though there are other methods, it's important to understand each one. Once you start to take the initiate, it won't be long before your mouth and smile is gleaming with white teeth. - 30292
